Walsh
College is proud to offer a new doctorate program called The Doctor
of Management (DM) in Executive Leadership. The DM program is
accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
The
Doctor of Management in Executive Leadership:
A
business degree that links business theories with
practice
Why it works
The doctoral program is different by design. The emphasis is on
taking the theory and applying it in the real world. The program is
designed for working professionals, so it offers a mix of on-campus
and online courses taught by business leaders with a diverse range
of experience. The DM cohort of no more than 20 degree candidates
moves as a unit through the 3-year program. You will collaborate
with faculty and peers to gain the business acumen and wisdom that
you'll never find in a textbook.
What you'll
learn
The program develops leaders with the skills necessary to respond
to the changing economy by providing the required knowledge to
transform the economic landscape and guide organizations
successfully through complex domestic and global markets.
With the knowledge you've gained, you'll be positioned to
accelerate your career whether you're an automotive executive, a
health care professional, an academic administrator or an
entrepreneur.
The skills you'll gain
You will emerge from this program with a significantly stronger set
of business and leadership skills. The successful candidates will
have their leadership and academic skills challenged. At the end of
the program of study you will have been exposed to the fields of
change management, ethics, problem solving, entrepreneurship,
global, technological, systems thinking, team building,
computational skills and research skills.

Here's just a sample of the type of courses you'll be taking in
